We feel so lucky to have had Cascadian Weddings make our wedding video! We were not planning to have a videographer at first but after seeing some of their work we couldn't imagine not having one! Mark had great ideas and was able to get a nervous couple to warm up to the camera, leaving us with a perfect memory of an enchanting day. What really makes his videos stand out are the interviews that he does before the wedding day. We were interviewed separately at a scenic park in Seattle and chose not to see what the other had said until the entire video was finished. The way he incorporated our answers into the video was amazing and we loved watching what the other had to say.
We loved Mark's editing! The video had great flow and the soundtrack worked perfectly with the footage. Most wedding videos that I have seen seem to be just a highlight reel of the wedding day. Mark and his team go above and beyond to capture the entire day without you really noticing and create a half hour video for you to look back on to remember the day!
We cannot thank Mark enough for the incredible job he did on our video and for creating this beautiful memory for us to watch over and over again for the rest of our lives!
You can't go wrong choosing Cascadian Weddings for your videography- I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!

Let me just say that mark did not disappoint!! We had a special request that he was able to bring to life. My husband and I got married in Thailand. We spent 3 weeks there and wanted to document our wedding/honeymoon. We took a GO PRO with us and recorded anything and everything along the way. Bringing back hours and hours of footage! Mark was able to sort through all the video we took and put together the most beautiful video highlighting our relationship, trip and marriage. We gave him full creative control He edited it together with our interviews we did months prior. Let's just say it's a tear jerker. We absolute love what he did for us and couldn't be more grateful. He is highly recommended by us. A thousands times over!!!!

About a month before our wedding, a classmate of mine posted a video shoot and edited by Mark from Casadian Weddings. Even though I didn't personally know the couple in the video, Mark's vision and editing made their story a romantic and fun movie. I immediately contacted Mark. With only a month's notice, Mark was able to make it work. Mark worked around our crazy schedules, took care of all the details, made us feel comfortable (even though we very camera shy) and always responded to our emails and calls immediately. His professionalism and responsiveness made our lives so much easier. Our video was delivered ahead of schedule and it was perfect.
We didn't plan to have a wedding videographer at first. After seeing so many demos we were not impressed, all the videos were emotionless and boring. I am so glad I found Cascadian Weddings before it was too late. Now that few months have passed, I am so thankful that Mark was able to capture this very special day on video for us to enjoy for the rest of lives. A lot of people don't see the significance of a videographer when they have already have a photographer to capture the day. Trust me, you'll regret it. It's not the same thing. Most couples are so busy and tired during the wedding that it just flies by. You will want to go back and watch the most beautiful moments of your wedding unfold from the best angles, Cascadian Weddings will make that happen.
Mark is simply amazing! He is very creative and artistic. He did our wedding video - truly epic! It was like a well made Hollywood movie, cinematic. He has strong film making fundamentals, which really reflects in all his work from color grading, video editing, audio and cinematography. He is a great listener, we told him exactly what we wanted and we were blown away with what he produced. It was more than anything we imagined. He is the best!!!

My husband and I decided just about 2 1/2 weeks before our wedding that we NEEDED a videographer. I mean, all this money spent on the wedding and nothing but pictures to show for it? Nope.. Not us! So I did some browsing and came across the most romantic video I had ever watched. I cried as I watched it... and crossed my fingers that Mark would be available in 2 weeks. Once I emailed Mark, he called me right away and we chatted for a good 15-20 minutes, just getting to know each other and realizing that we had a mutual friend (who I had seem in the video I watched). We talked like we were old friends, which was awesome! He told me that he was actually in Chicago going to school, but that he would absolutely buy a plane ticket and shoot the wedding. My husband and I were SO THRILLED!!! I had seen videos before, but NOTHING like Mark's. He is so hip with all the latest and greatest in not only equipment, but with the programs and editing tools that he uses to create these beautiful videos. The day before the wedding we met and shot some footage for the film. Once we met, not only were my husband and I excited for the next day, but so was my mom and wedding party that had also just met him. Mark came early to the venue and got right to work. My favorite thing about him is he (and his assistant) were like flies on the wall. I literally didn't realize or even think about having cameras on us all day. He is not only professional, but such an easy going guy that makes everyone feel good and at ease. He has such a fun personality, we all felt like we had known him forever. He got such creative and amazing footage, I absolutely couldn't wait to see the video in full. After the wedding, he even emailed me some still images from the film since I wasn't having any luck getting a sneak peak from our photographers. Everything I saw was so beautiful.. the anticipation for the real deal was just getting stronger and stronger. Let me tell you, I was BLOWN AWAY at the quality with the final production. It is EVERYTHING my husband and I could have wished for. We talk about it all the time, how we can't wait to share it with all of our children when we get older, and how we are excited to watch it on every anniversary until we are old and grey. All of our friends and family who have watched it cry and are in disbelief at how perfectly it all came together. My favorite thing about the video, is it tells our story. For the friends and family that weren't able to attend the wedding, they were able to feel like they were there. And everyone got to know us better as a couple through it. The song choices were perfectly paired with the visuals and the whole video had the most amazing 'flow'. I could watch it everyday, and there are some days I watch it twice. I am in love with it, and couldn't have asked for a better videographer to capture our perfect day. We are forever grateful for Mark for giving us the most special gift we could have ever received. It is something we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you Mark!!! You ROCK!!

Mark did such a great job with our wedding video! His careful attention to detail and overall vision really made for a fantastic film in the end. My husband and I travelled with just our immediate families from all over the country to Washington to have a beautiful, intimate and unique wedding at Treehouse Point. Mark captured the true essence of not only our wedding day, but our relationship -- I feel this is what truly makes for a very personal and very special wedding video.
My husband and I both have large extended families, so it was great to be able to share the gorgeous venue and personal experience of our wedding day with them through the video. I was really impressed with his ability to capture so many hours of footage on our wedding day and our relationship during the interview segment and edit them down into a stunning, condensed yet perfect representation of this amazing day!
Mark did a great job communicating with us in post-production and ensured that we ended up with a video perfectly tailored to us. We are so happy to have chosen Cascading Weddings to capture this most memorable time in our lives!!

As we approach our one year anniversary (yes, this review is a little belated), we are so incredibly grateful to have high-quality footage that allows us to relive the best day of our lives. Without a doubt, hiring Mark was the single best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Now, we have this romantic, fun, and artistic film that perfectly preserves the emotion and essence of that very special day!
Throughout the planning process Mark was easy to reach, quick to respond, and incredibly flexible. Both he and his second shooter were fun to be around; with their relaxed, humorous personalities, they added even more joy to our day. Post-process, Mark went above and beyond to respect requests we had, and we could not be more pleased with the results. Mark's artistry is astounding, so much so that we screen grabbed shots in the videos to supplement our wedding pictures.
I cannot recommend Cascadian Weddings highly enough. Mark's performance and quality well exceeded all of my hopes and expectations, and even this is an understatement.

Mark filmed our wedding this past August 2014 and we could not be happier with the video he created. We were initially on the fence about hiring a Videographer since we really didn't want to spend the extra money, but are so glad we did!
Mark was extremely helpful during the planning process. We live on the East Coast so planning a wedding in Seattle was a challenge but Mark was very easy to get a hold of. He always responded to our emails and phone calls quickly. Prior to the wedding, we had never met Mark in person, just via Skype. He was completely professional on the wedding day and did an outstanding job.
We were completely shocked to receive a 'sneak peak' video the week after our wedding. The complete video was finished within 4 months of the wedding day, which is pretty fast compared to other Videographers that we had looked into. Mark was also very fairly priced for the Seattle market.
There were many moments of the wedding day we had completely forgotten about that Mark was able to capture in his video. We loved the time lapse feature on his camera which he used to capture the scenery surrounding our venue. It really made the video! We were so glad we had a video to show all of our family and friends that couldn't make the wedding.
If you are on the fence like we were, just go for it. We highly recommend Mark for your wedding!

I wish I could give Cascadian Weddings more than 5 stars! I can't put into words what an incredible job Mark did on our wedding video. Originally, I didn't think a videographer was that important but I was SO wrong! Our video represents so much more than just our wedding - it truly captures our entire relationship. Mark was so much fun and he spent time and interviewed both of us before the wedding. He integrated our responses perfectly throughout the video in a way I'd never seen before and it added such a wonderful dynamic.
We left all the creative decisions up to Mark as we knew he was the videography expert and he selected perfect music and captured every part of our wedding - from the pre-wedding primping to my father-in-law's hilarious dance moves at the end of the night.
After sharing the video through social media, it's surreal how many people have told us it is the best wedding video they've ever seen. Every time I watch it (which is frequently!) I'm reminded of something else that happened during the wedding that I had completely forgotten about while being caught up in the whirlwind of things. It really was the best night of our lives and I'm so grateful to Mark and Cascadian Weddings for giving us something tangible that we will always be able to watch and share with our friends and family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
